Reed Village Hall

Situated opposite the picturesque green, and central to the Village, with facilities to seat and cater for up to 100 people, the Hall is an excellent choice for weddings, parties and all types of function. The Hall was built in 1933 by the villagers of Reed with land donated by the late Mrs Turney. Today the Hall is a registered charity run by a voluntary committee. It is maintained through revenue from fundraising events and donations. More about the Hall on the North Herts website

REED VILLAGE HALL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2021

Wednesday 14 July at 6.30pm at Reed Village Hall Notice and Agenda

YOUR VILLAGE HALL NEEDS YOU!

Reed Village Hall was constructed some 90 years ago by villagers following a gift of the land from a local landowner. Since then it has been extended a few times and always kept well maintained. The Hall has provided a strong focal point for the village and helped to foster the strong community spirit that continues to the present day. The Hall has hosted countless meetings, fundraising events and parties over the years and, hopefully, will continue to do so for many years to come. Making all this happen requires volunteers and, at the upcoming AGM, we are looking for nominations to the Committee. Being a Committee member requires attendance at a small number of meetings each year and only a few hours each month depending on usage. If you would like to support your Village Hall, please send your nomination to alan.blower52@gmail.com stating which position you are interested in (see the agenda for details).
