Reed Readers is the village book group established in 2011. We get together about once a month and meet at one or other of our homes.Over a glass or two of wine and a few nibbles, we enjoy an informal chat about our chosen book. Occasionally we take a trip out to hear an author talking about their work or to visit the theatre. We are a small, friendly group so conversation is relaxed and it’s easy to express opinions, to make suggestions and to agree on future reading. We generally use the local library book club loan service so the only expense involved is a trip to Royston to pick up and return the book.We always welcome new ideas and new members. If you are interested in joining us or coming along to a meeting to see what you think, please contact Gill Langley on langreed@aol.com.
